Carlos Grant from Minnesota arrives in the Pacific Northwest to facilitate a workshop which addresses many topics of race, language (ASL & English), norms, culture, myths, communication, power and privilege, conflict, history, and social standards within the African American & Black Deaf and hearing communities. Carlos was born and raised in New Orleans. For the past 14 years he has worked full time as an ASL interpreter, primarily in the southeast region of the country until 2013 when he moved to Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received 31 days prior to the workshop will receive 100% refund, cancellations between 11 and 30 days will receive a 50% refund, cancellations 0-10 days will receive no refund. All CEU fees are refundable with cancellation. This policy does not apply if the cancellation is made by DM2 , in this case, all registrations will be refunded.
