Dave Morrison (CI & CT, NIC-A, SC:L, NAD-5). Dave received his A.A. in ASL/ENG Interpreting from L.A. Pierce College in 1989. In 2000, he obtained his M.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Kentucky. He has interpreted in a variety of venues, from the courtroom to funerals to underwater conservation forums. He is currently the interpreter coordinator at the Center for Deafness and Hearing Loss (CDHL) in Vancouver, Washington and works with local theaters as a director, actor and instructor. Dawn McKenna (CI & CT, NIC) graduated from her ITP in 2000 under the direction of Lou Fant. She brings to the profession a wide array of auxiliary skills, honed from years of working in such eclectic settings as: an office bookkeeper, customer service specialist and mentor to sign language interpreters. Her theatrical background comes not from traditional stage techniques, but in years of working as a carnival barker. She is currently a freelance interpreter specializing in engineering and technical settings.
